I've Graduated!!!!!

As you can guess from the title of this post, I've graduated!

**HORRAYYYY!!!!!!**

I'd finished all of my school work and on June 4th 2009, I completed my GED test. I didn't know my test scores but we had a graduation party anyway. Ben was graduating high school also so we just combined the two of us graduating into one big celebration!

We sent out invitations to all of our friends and family to a Graduation BBQ. With tons of invitations sent out, we had tons of people arrive.

Everyone who came ate awesome food made by yours truly and family,

gave gifts and advise to Ben and myself,

hung out,

and pretty much had a wonderful time.
We had the party outside for a while but it started to rain so we moved everyone in.
It was absolutly awesome to see all of my siblings again. Well, not ALL of my siblings. My older sister Lynde couldn't come because she lives in Indiana! But seeing and hanging out with all of my older brothers was pretty freakin' awesome!

Happy 17th! : )

Happy Birthday to me!!!!!
My birthday has come and gone.
I am 17 and will be for a whole year. :P
I had a wonderful low key birthday day. We had cake, ice cream and presents. I got flowers, gift card to Barnes and Noble for $25 and a DVD (Little Nicky) that I bought on Ebay.
On Saturday, June 6, I had a bunch of friends over to hang out and 4 stayed the night.
Unfortunately, I don't have pictures of everyone. :(

Makin' a cake. It was just a vanilla cake with vanilla frosting dyed blue. I'm a vanilla girl. ;)

Val and myself.
We were singing some song while eating the extra frosting. Hence, the blue tongues! Lol!

Vayda and Ravyn.
Things got goofy after a while. We roasted marshmallows and talked about random crap. Vayda and Ravyn stole my camera at some point. I looked through my pictures afterwards and there were about 10 plus pictures like this. Dorks...
This is some psycho that said his name was Adam...
He wasn't invited...I really don't know this this freak is.
He just came in and said, "Where the party at?!"
He said that he was Vayda's best friend but Vayda just gave him a weird look and said, "Who are you? Aren't you that weird guy who calls me everyday? STALKERRRRRRR!"

Yet ANOTHER prom?!

Ha-ha. Yeah...
This is proboly the last prom I'll be blogging about btw. I don't know anyone else going to prom. At least, I don't think so...anyway. Here's the last prom...

So Mollie told me the one day that she was going to get another use of her prom dress. I of course spazzed because her dress is so beautiful that it should get another run. She told me that she and her boyfriend Wesley were going to his prom! Horray!
So I told her that she wasn't going anywhere until they came to my house for pictures! She told Wesley the deal. They both laughed and agreed.

June 6, 2009 Mollie and Wesley arrived at my house all dolled up for the prom! :)
I took all pictures shown here.
You're welcome you guyz!

The adroable couple.
You have no idea world but these two are so freakin' adorable that I could puke!
Haha! They really are perfect for eachother, it's really freaky... :P

Away they go in thier noble steed!

And speaking of prom...

Ben went to prom too!
He didn't go to the same prom I went to. I went to Junior Prom with Mollie at her school.
Ben went to his own school's prom. The Senior prom!
Yup.

Ben and Julia all dressed up!

Ben went to prom. With a girl too! He was going to go to prom "stag", aka alone, but he asked a girl named Julia to prom and she said yes. So...Ben went out and rented a tux, and got Julia a corsage. He was a little nervous but everything turned out well!

I don't know everyone on here but Ben will help me fill in the details! :)

Ben and the guys. In order (from left to right) : Trevor Irby, Ben Norton, Michael Dickerson, Cody Stahl, Max Petersen, Nate Scott and Emre Goksu.

Julia and the girls. In order (from left to right) : Montana McDonald, Emily Bachman, Mia Canale, Corrine Poormon, Julia Galipeau, Brittney Ruthven, Cassandra Hosmer, Sarah Minns, Samantha Minns. He doesn't know who the very last girl is. You'll have to ask Anthony Davoli, she was his date!

Julia and Montana looking very pretty.

Ben and Karolina Aubrechtova. I don't know her...

YOU went to Prom?!

Me and Mollie, my BFF.

Yup! I went to prom! Well, actually, it was my BFF's prom. She invited me to go to her junior prom! (BTW, because I'm home schooled, I wouldn't have gotten a prom.) Because she's my freakin' BFF, I of course said "OKAY!!!!!!". I really really really REALLY wanted to go! Lol!
So the shoppin' began....
I was in need of:
A dress
Heels (no flats allowed by my mother!)
Accessories

We went to the Auburn mall and got all of the above, and some. My mom paid for everything but! I paid her back for it all with my hard earned cash!
Hooray!!
*Confetti* *Balloons* *Applause*
So at the mall we got a dress, earrings, and shoes. The dress took about 15 minutes to get. The earrings were in the same store as the dress so that was painfully easy. Lol!
The shoes took us a while though. We went to about 3 different shoe stores in the mall. We found a pair of sliver flip-flops that were very tight. My feet were soooo swollen after walking around the mall all day but we bought them anyway. Before we went home Mom and Vayda went to a pet store and I went to a Payless next door. I found the perfect shoes! They fit perfectly! They are black heels (not to tall!) with a thong strap and rhinestone squares on each. Very cute! (I'm only describing them to you because I didn't take any pictures and I seriously don't want to! :P)
After everything was found we headed back for home, exhausted!

The day of the prom came. I painted my fingers (and toes) with silver nail polish. I had my mom cut my hair (Ok, more like buzz it but w/e). She also plucked my eyebrows, (which I must say is about THE most painful thing I've gone through! I hate it!!) till they were, in her eyes, perfect. I then showered so I'd be clean (duh) and so Mom could do my hair. She gelled it up and pt little clips in it. Not my thing but she said that I was gorgeous and that if I complained, she would kill me. Soooo...lol. I then put on my dress and heels. Then Vayda sat me down and attacked...I mean, put make-up on, my face. After that, we took tons of pictures!
My bff Mollie was already at my house because she was not only getting ready but we were giving her a ride. So she was all gussied up and I was all gussied up and our mothers had tears in their eyes. I'm thinking that they thought we were beautiful....Lol!

My (beautiful) self with my mother and Mollie (also very beautiful) with her mother.

Me and my "Make-up Artist"

Mollie and I bought each other corsages. Why? Because we could! :P Lol!
The one pictured above was mine. Wasn't it pretty? Now it's it's all dry and lumpy...

On the road...and lookin' FINE! Lol!
The prom was at Bellhurst Castle so it wasn't much of a drive. Mom and her (crazy!) friend Heather drove us there because they were going out to dinner anyway.

(No photo for this 'cause that would be just weird!)
At Bellhurst we had a really nice dinner. We had waiters and everything!
I had Chicken Parmesan and Mollie had a pasta dish 'cause of her vegetarian-ness...aka Veg Headed-ness.

We arrived and found some friends!
Our friend Tiarra (the blond in the first picture) was there with her boyfriend, Michel (who goes to school with Mollie.) She looked great! Her dress was AMAZING on her!
The second picture is of Mollie's friends, Rachel and Roger. They were both very nice (I totally wanted Rachel's dress!) and quirky. We went to Denny's with them after the prom.

Here's pictures of everyone dancing.
(First pic) Unfortunately, this was a slow song, which is why I was just taking pictures and not dancing along! (Second pic) The dancing was fun but it got really good when they whipped out the glow stick-necklaces!
Then it was AWESOME!!!!

This is Mollie, Rachel and Roger...in the dark!
We were pretty tired so we all took a break from dancing.

Mollie and I chillaxin'
(This picture was taken during a slow song. That's pretty much the only time we had for pictures. The rest of the time we were on the dance floor. Lol!)

All in all it was an awesome night.
As you can tell, I was very happy that I went.

RENT Review

Alright,

As you probably know from the older post on RENT, I went to see RENT, live and on stage in Rochester.

Well, here's my take on it:

It was amazing!!!!!!

The guys who played Roger and Mark were the same guys from the Broadway production and the movie!!!! I was practicality freakin' out when I found out! Lol!

Anyway...I was so happy to be there! The play was wayyy better than even I dreamed! Everyone in the play, if any of you are reading this (fat chance but still, one can hope/dream)...

YOU GUYS ROCKED!!!!
AND IF I COULD GO AGAIN AND AGAIN,
I TOTALLY FREAKIN' WOULD!!!!!! :)

So here's the deal of what I did that day:

1) Woke up and smiled because "Today's the big day!"

2) Did all my chores as fast (and thoroughly!) as I could
3) Got dressed (about 8 times! That's gotta be the first time I've EVER done that!!)
4) Ate an apple (you really didn't need to know that but whatever... :P)
5) Went outside at 4:20 because my pick up was at 4:30
6) Got picked up by my ride, a green minivan that held...three people I knew and two I didn't!
People I knew: Mrs. Bauder (I babysit her kids and she invited me to come with them. Plus, not only was she was giving me a free ticket but also because I had babysat for her the day before she was going to pay for my dinner! She hadn't payed me the night before because she had forgotten to go to the bank but I told her that it was OK and that, instead of paying me in cash, could she pay for dinner instead? Because that's what i was going to use the babysitting money for anyway! lol! She agreed.), Mr. Eastman, and a guy named Wesley who I knew slightly. (I later found out that he knew me from work and that he is going out with my best friend, Mollie who had just told me about him only the day before!
Go figure! Lol!)
People I didn't know: Two guys: Elrick and Dwayne. They were both very cool guys.
7) Trip to Rochester. Nobody really talked. It was kinda like a tomb....
8) We arrived at T.G.I. Fridays. We were going to have dinner before the show.
9) I tried to figure out where to sit. I saw a girl named Amanda who I knew from the Beauty and the Beast play over the summer. I waved and was still unsure where to sit when Wesley invited me to sit with him and his friends. Turned out his friends were at the same table as Amanda was sitting! So I knew at least two people! Met everyone around the table.
One side: Wesley and me
Other side: Amanda (across from me), a girl named Amber and another girl named...Britney, I believe it was. I could be wrong.... She didn't really talk much...
We all talked and got to know each other. I found out that Amber knew Mollie too!!! She apparently met Mollie the same place Wesley did! Small world! They all went to the same school and were laughing about some teachers and asked me if I hated any of my teachers. I grinned and told them that if I hated my teacher, I'd be a dead woman! I explained that I was home schooled and that I was graduating this year, blah blah blah. We all ate, and then we went into our separate cars, promising to sit next to each other when we got there.
10) Car ride to the theater. there was much more talking this time! I guess we all just needed some food! While we were all talking we found out that we all like similar things!
Again, go figure! Lol!
11) Arrived at theatre. Found some more friends there. My good friend Emily was there! She's the one who got me crazy about RENT and so I was thrilled to see her!
Her family brought her to the show as a surprise because they knew she loved it so much!
How nice is that?! I wish my family would do that! Lol!
12) Got to our seats. I sat to the very end (aisle side to my right) and ended up next to Amber! She was sitting next to Wesley and myself so we talked for a while before the lights dimmed a bit and the show began! One thing that i noticed right away was that the pit band was ON STAGE!! they weren't in front of it! They were on stage, with the actors!
I thought "Now that's cool! That's they way it show go!" but then I remembered that some shows had many more players in the pit, so they couldn't fit them all on stage.
But it's a great concept! Very original and very very cool!
13) Intermission. Went out to hang in the lobby (How cool is that?! How many times in life do you get to say "Oh. I just hung out in the lobby?" like it happens all the time?!). Met up with Wesley, Amber, and Emily. Talked about how freakin' amazing the show was going!
We all loved it and were totally being major geeks about it!
Singing in the lobby is frowned upon, btw...lol!
Lights blinked to say "Hey! Get back in here!" The show was back on!
14) The rest of the show. Totally cried like the major dork(geek/nerd/whatever!) I am! I was so happy that I saw it yet sad that it was over. Plus the whole ending was happy/sad.
(No spoilers will be posted here! :P Go see it and you'll know!!!) Chilled in the seats for a while while "Mark" talked about how the show has been going, who the writer was, etc. Then he told u that there was a fund raiser going on. You could win a signed poster, a coffee table book all about RENT (hint, hint. A little something something for Christmas there people! *cough, cough* Just an note....*wink*) and a back stage pass for you and everyone in your group to hang with the cast and director!!!! Well, our group was freaking out and we were all, "Who's got money?!", "I wonder if they take checks!?", and "Man! If only...".
They started bidding at $200. It quickly rose. It stopped at $800. "Mark" said, "Going once...going twice...last chance...", when suddenly someone yelled, "$1,000!" Everyone gasped and applauded! "Mark" said, "Wow! Thank you! OK, going once...going twice...last chance..... Sold! Thank you very much sir!!!" Everyone freaked out and applauded! One thousand dollars for a charity for people with AIDS! That was just amazing! I was so happy even though I didn't do anything to help. I was just glad that there was that much money for those people in need.
15) Trip home. Not as quiet as the first but not as crazy as the second. Got people's email and phone numbers and promised to write/call.
All in all, it was one heck of a night and I'll (hopefully!) never forget it!

Uh Oh....

...I'm Facebook addicted!!!
Ok, here's the deal. I now have a Facebook. My mother had one for about two weeks. She liked it so much and saw that it's safe(er than other things...) so she said that my sister and I could have one!
*Cheers* *Balloons* *Confetti*

So lately I've been lookin' up friends that I haven't talk to since we moved from Ithaca in 5th grade and I've been reconnecting!!!

Plus the fact that I've been chatting with people I've loved forever (family) and friends I've known forever too!
So I'm pretty happy!
And socialized!

See, homeschoolers have friends too! Lol!
