My Birthday!!!!

I just had another birthday! In fact, it was a two part birthday!

On my birthday (June 2nd) I went to my book club. We ate cookies that I had made (and my bff Mollie and I went outside to light the candles that I stuck in them),

talked about books and just had a fun time!

Then I came home and my family and I ate the cake (see below)

I had made that morning and talked the normal stuff.

Vayda also gave me a special message...

Lol! Gotta love her!

Then, on June 20th I had my B-day party!

A bunch of my friends came over and partied it up for a few hours!

We had a camp fire,

presents, pizza, cake and music!

My gorgeous cake that my wonderful mother made.

Then my bffs Mollie and Emily stayed the night and we goofed off all night long!

I made pancakes in the morning while they slept in (see above) so they woke up to breakfast too!

I wish I was catered to like that! Lol!

Wahoo! It was so much fun!

I'm so glad that my life is filled with cool people, awesome friends and a wacky family!

I'm going to be the Barmaid and the Whisk! It's going to be so much fun!

The production is very soon so I can't wait! I am a little nervous though. I kinda keep messing up my lines but I'm getting the hang of it! I'm a bit rusty when it comes to this play business! Lol! I've been biking to the play practices everyday too so I'm getting very tired! I'm getting thinner though! Lol!

Awesome Book I've Read!

Hello there!

I'm so sorry that I haven't add anything in so long! I've been mega busy lately and I haven't had a chance to get on for a while! Sry!

Well, I'll just give you an update on my reading list!

I have read this really good four book series called Twilight by Stephenie Meyer.

This is the cover of the first book in the series, Twilight.

I do have to say it's now one of my many personal favorites!

Twilight is a book about a normal seventeen year old girl named Isabella Swan, but she goes by Bella. She's just moved to Forks, Washington from Phoenix, Arizona and is now living with her father. She's none to happy about moving to Forks. Changing schools, wardrobe, friends and weather isn't easy and she kinda fumbles at first. But then she meets Edward Cullen.

Edward Cullen is perfect.

Perfect clothes, perfect hair, perfect features, perfect EVERYTHING! But he and his family are hiding a secret. They are a coven of vampires! (Now forget everything that you think you know about vampires because this book will blow them away!) Bella and Edward fall in love. Edward becomes very wary at first because he doesn't want to hurt her. But he loosens up and they have a perfect relationship. Everything is going wonderful...

...Until something unexpected happens.

I'm not saying anything else!

This book is so good! I recommend it to everyone in the whole world! Guy or girl, woman or man, married or single, you'll love this book! (If you don't, then I'm sorry for lumping you into the group of those who did enjoy it!)

I give the whole series a 10/10!

Twilight is becoming a movie. In fact, it's coming out to theaters November 21. (It switched places with Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.) I hope that the movie will do the book justice! I know they're going to twist some things to make it more action packed (Hello! It's Hollywood we're talking about here!!!) but I hope they don't tweak too much! *fingers crossed*

My friends and I are going to go out to see the movie and we're going to buy HUGE buckets of popcorn and gummi bears and if the movie sucks, we're gonna throw it at the screen! We don't care if we get kicked out! This movie better be frieakin' awesome or else us Twilight fans everywhere will want revenge! Lol!

Happy Naw Ruz

Happy Naw Ruz everybody!!!!

For those of you who don't know what that is....

"Naw Ruz" is either Arabic or Farsi (not really sure which...) for "New Year". In the Baha'i Faith, after Ayyam-i-Ha and the Fast, the New Year comes along on the 21 of March, which is the first day of Spring! Cool huh?

So our New Year starts all on the first day of Spring. Time for changes, not only in weather but in an outlook of life and in attitude. But we don't do "New Year's Resolutions". That's just a scam for you to go out and get exercise stuff but never to use.

So, in the end of it all, what I'm saying to all y'all is...

I went to this awesome festival the other day!

It was the Northeastern Baha'i Youth Festival (a.k.a. N.E.B.Y Fest or just N.E.B.Y for short) and it was SO much fun!!!
There was so much to do and see!! Apparently, there were over 1,000 people!!! Everywhere you'd go, you'd run into (literally!) someone!! Is that crazy or what?!?! There were even some people who were famous! It was so cool to meet so many cool people and hang out with them for three days. Well, actually...I went home a little early (my driver was a collage student and school on Monday.)

But it was so much fun while I was there...can't wait for next year!!!!

For those of you who don't know what that is...

Ayyam-i-Ha is a time of celebration for the Baha'is around the world. Our calender has 19 months with 19 days each. With the Christian calender, this only makes 360 days. So, we need to catch it up by 5 days! Ayyam-i-Ha means "Days of 5" in Persian (Farsi now). Depending on if the year is a leap year or not, we have either 4 or 5 days of giving gifts and seeing family.

Soooo...now that you are all caught up...

Overview of 2007

Sigh...

It's good to have Christmas over. Don't get me wrong; I love Christmas, it just can be way to overwhelming at times. I got lots of things done and over with this past year (still not done with the collage though! Lol!) so I quite happy. I'll keep you posted if anything goes screwy!

Lol! No, what I've really been up too is making a collage of the Jonas Brothers. How it all started was I went to the store and bought two magazines (J14 and BOP if you wanted to know). All I wanted were the posters but going through it all made my brain go crazy! Everywhere I looked there were the Jonas Brothers! I was looking in both mags. and they were EVERYWHERE! Lol!

Not that I'm complaining! I mean they're kinda cute and their music is pretty good!

Bordom Has It's Perks!...Sometimes!

Have you ever been so bored that you've done something wild and crazy?

I have!!!!!!!!!!!

One day I had a quick break from canning applesauce, (and let me tell you something, it's long, hard work making applesauce!) so I sat down on the couch and I was just thinking about how much I liked applesauce when I decided to sit upside-down on the couch...aka my head resting on the ground while my body was up in the air. My littlest sister saw me and asked me what I was doing. I just told her that I was bored when she started to crack up! I asked her "What's so funny?" and she said "You look sooo funny!" She then called to my sister and my mother "you have to see this!" My mother and sister ran in and started to laugh!

I had no idea what the heck they were laughing about but I knew something bad (for me) was going to happen. And I was sooooooo right! They started to mess with me. They put paper on my chin, a hair tie on my neck and eyeliner near my mouth.

Then they started to take pictures!

Halloween of 2007

I know, I know.

I said I was done last year but I lied. Lol! Yes, I went trick-or-treating this year. And I dressed up too! Lol! This year I went out with my little sisters and a few friends. My sister Maya was a vampire's minion (but no teeth!), my friend Emily was Maya's vampire master, my friend Tiara was a devil and her sister Ciara was Tinker Bell. My sister Vayda's costume was a wee bit complicated. Vayda was emo/goth/Elvira/that-chick-from-White-Oleander-when-she-went-all-physio-on-her-jailbird-mother/I-have-no-idea-what-the-heck-I-am! And as for me...I was a COWBOY! Yes, me. A girl as a guy. Not really original but still fun.

Everyone came over to my house and we hoped into our car and drove away to somewhere close by. We walked around, trick-or-treated and had a blast. When we got home, we traded the candy we didn't like and then the parents of our friends came to pick them up. Everyone went home happy and tired. I'm so happy that this Halloween was fun for all involed.
