I saw the Twilight movie!

As you can see from the title of this post, I saw the Twilight movie!

(I saw it a while ago but I haven't had time to add anything on my blog! Sry!)

It was pretty good! The producers and director could have done better though. Everything went WAY too fast but then again, in a movie you have to go fast or else people would start to lose interest (unless the did a good job with it! Ex. Harry Potter 1 + 2). the cast was pretty close too. I think that everyone was super close (except Edward. He was WAY OFF!).

Here's what I think:

Alice:
Could have been a little shorter but w/e

Emmett:
Could have been a little more muscular but then he would have popped a hernia or something! That would've sucked! lol! (He definitely could have had more lines. Did the directors READ the BOOK?!)

Jacob:

Cut the freakin' hair already! WAY TOO LONG!

Esme:

Pretty close...she's fine, I guess.

Carlise:

Was pretty awesome!

Jasper:
Was close but the hair was weird and he kinda looked constipated...

Rosealie:
Fake blond! Bleached skin! You could tottaly tell!

Bella:

Hey hey hey!

Christmas is done and it was all fun but now I have to yak about what I gooootttt!!!

I got...

1) A little notebook called "A Reader's Diary" from my parents.
What this is is a notebook where you can rate the books you've read or are reading!

Cool, huh?

Inside, there was a bookmark that has the ratings on it.

2) A matching set of earrings, bracelet and necklace from my Grandma Rose!

Gorgeous or what?!

3) A whole bunch of hoop earrings from my Grandma Rose!

4) My Grandma Linda gave us each a $25 gift card to Wal-Mart so we went shopping a few days after Christmas and I got these awesome earrings on the cheap...

...and I got two movies!

I bought Robin Hood: Men In Tights and A Knight's Tale for only $10.00! That's for both of them!!!!

5) I got a check from my Grandmommy for $25 for whatever I want to spend it on!

6) I got a check for $25 from my Grandma Rose for whatever I want to spend it on!

Whoooooo!

That's it! It was an awesome Christmas and (so far) a happy New Year!

Trick Or Treat!!!

Trick or Treat!

Wahoo! Another year of trick or treating has come and gone. This year I went trick-o-treatin' with my friends Emily, Cierra and Tierra. Maya and her friend Saige came with us too!

This year I didn't have a real costume, par say. I kinda just winged it! Lol! I took my mother's old prom dress (with her permission of course), an old wig that we had laying around the house, my sister's black fishnet gloves and my combat boots. Put it all together and you got...I have no idea! Lol!

This year, Maya went as the devil. She put on this black cloak thing under a red sparkle dress. She also put on black pants because she didn't want to get cold. Add the tail and the horns and viola! You have Maya, as the devil! Lol! Saige went as Little Red Riding Hood. Complete with hood. Very cute!

My friend Emily dressed as a punk. She wore normal clothes but punked them up by wearing fake eyebrow piercing, heavy eyeliner and dark red lipstick. Cierra went as a Navy person and her sister Tierra went as a cowgirl/country star. I'm not sure which.

So yes. Halloween was totally fun this year and we got tons more candy this year than last.

Like I always say: It doesn't matter how old you are, if you're well behaved and are enjoying yourself then go Trick-o-Treating!!!! lol!

Doggy Blues

This post is dedicated to my dog, Emma.

This was my family's dog.

She was a Jack Russel-Miniature Pincher mix,

aka "Jackie-MinPin".

Her name was Emma.

I say "was" because she's not here anymore.

She's dead.

Emma ran into the road and was hit by a car in the afternoon of July 27, 2008.
She died an hour afterwards.

I was not there when it happened.

I consider this a blessing because I'm pretty sure I wouldn't have been able to handle it.

Plus, I'm glad that the last memories I have with her are happy and fun instead of filled with pain and sadness.

I miss her so much.

It's really wierd not having her around.

It's strange how something so small could make such a big impact and/or imprint in your life.....

Sorry for "yelling" it but I'm so excited!!!! Plus the fact that I won a ticket to go see it!!!! So now I can go see it for free and only pay for the popcorn and/or gummy bears\Skittles! Lol!

The movie is based on the first book of the best selling series Twilight which is called,

State Fair!

This is the front and back of the butter sculpture. It was rotating around in a giant glass refrigerator.

I went to the State Fair with my friend Emily and her family!

I've never been to the State Fair before (except when I was a baby but I don't count that!) so I was super excited! Em and I went to the rides and probably rode everyone there! Even the free falling one! And we both are afraid of heights!

Anyway, we went one way and her parents went another. Em, her parents and I saw the Butter Sculpture and the state trooper show, which was so funny! We passed a hunted house and my favorite radio station's (Hot 107.9!) booth.

I had fried dough with chocolate melted on top. Man! Sooo good!

Everything was loud and fast!

There were probably thousands of people there! I kid you not!

I also got some things!

I bought some Italian Charms for my charm bracelet and I won a poster of the Jonas Brothers when I played a balloon game!

This is a giant monster that was outside of the hunted house. It would go back and forth like it was trying to grab you. And it would occasionally roar.

This guy was also outside of the haunted house. I don't know if you can see it but he had a giant (plastic) fly on his chin. It was really gross! *shudders*

I look terrified, huh? Lol!

My Birthday!!!!

I just had another birthday! In fact, it was a two part birthday!

On my birthday (June 2nd) I went to my book club. We ate cookies that I had made (and my bff Mollie and I went outside to light the candles that I stuck in them),

talked about books and just had a fun time!

Then I came home and my family and I ate the cake (see below)

I had made that morning and talked the normal stuff.

Then, on June 20th I had my B-day party!

A bunch of my friends came over and partied it up for a few hours!

We had a camp fire,

presents, pizza, cake and music!

My gorgeous cake that my wonderful mother made.

Then my bffs Mollie and Emily stayed the night and we goofed off all night long!

I made pancakes in the morning while they slept in (see above) so they woke up to breakfast too!

I wish I was catered to like that! Lol!

Wahoo! It was so much fun!

I'm so glad that my life is filled with cool people, awesome friends and a wacky family!

The production is very soon so I can't wait! I am a little nervous though. I kinda keep messing up my lines but I'm getting the hang of it! I'm a bit rusty when it comes to this play business! Lol! I've been biking to the play practices everyday too so I'm getting very tired! I'm getting thinner though! Lol!

Awesome Book I've Read!

Hello there!

I'm so sorry that I haven't add anything in so long! I've been mega busy lately and I haven't had a chance to get on for a while! Sry!

Well, I'll just give you an update on my reading list!

I have read this really good four book series called Twilight by Stephenie Meyer.

This is the cover of the first book in the series, Twilight.

I do have to say it's now one of my many personal favorites!

Twilight is a book about a normal seventeen year old girl named Isabella Swan, but she goes by Bella. She's just moved to Forks, Washington from Phoenix, Arizona and is now living with her father. She's none to happy about moving to Forks. Changing schools, wardrobe, friends and weather isn't easy and she kinda fumbles at first. But then she meets Edward Cullen.

Edward Cullen is perfect.

Perfect clothes, perfect hair, perfect features, perfect EVERYTHING! But he and his family are hiding a secret. They are a coven of vampires! (Now forget everything that you think you know about vampires because this book will blow them away!) Bella and Edward fall in love. Edward becomes very wary at first because he doesn't want to hurt her. But he loosens up and they have a perfect relationship. Everything is going wonderful...

...Until something unexpected happens.

I'm not saying anything else!

This book is so good! I recommend it to everyone in the whole world! Guy or girl, woman or man, married or single, you'll love this book! (If you don't, then I'm sorry for lumping you into the group of those who did enjoy it!)

I give the whole series a 10/10!

Twilight is becoming a movie. In fact, it's coming out to theaters November 21. (It switched places with Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince.) I hope that the movie will do the book justice! I know they're going to twist some things to make it more action packed (Hello! It's Hollywood we're talking about here!!!) but I hope they don't tweak too much! *fingers crossed*

My friends and I are going to go out to see the movie and we're going to buy HUGE buckets of popcorn and gummi bears and if the movie sucks, we're gonna throw it at the screen! We don't care if we get kicked out! This movie better be frieakin' awesome or else us Twilight fans everywhere will want revenge! Lol!

Happy Naw Ruz

Happy Naw Ruz everybody!!!!

For those of you who don't know what that is....

"Naw Ruz" is either Arabic or Farsi (not really sure which...) for "New Year". In the Baha'i Faith, after Ayyam-i-Ha and the Fast, the New Year comes along on the 21 of March, which is the first day of Spring! Cool huh?

So our New Year starts all on the first day of Spring. Time for changes, not only in weather but in an outlook of life and in attitude. But we don't do "New Year's Resolutions". That's just a scam for you to go out and get exercise stuff but never to use.

So, in the end of it all, what I'm saying to all y'all is...

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!

I went to this awesome festival the other day!

It was the Northeastern Baha'i Youth Festival (a.k.a. N.E.B.Y Fest or just N.E.B.Y for short) and it was SO much fun!!!
There was so much to do and see!! Apparently, there were over 1,000 people!!! Everywhere you'd go, you'd run into (literally!) someone!! Is that crazy or what?!?! There were even some people who were famous! It was so cool to meet so many cool people and hang out with them for three days. Well, actually...I went home a little early (my driver was a collage student and school on Monday.)

But it was so much fun while I was there...can't wait for next year!!!!
