YOU went to Prom?!

Me and Mollie, my BFF.

Yup! I went to prom! Well, actually, it was my BFF's prom. She invited me to go to her junior prom! (BTW, because I'm home schooled, I wouldn't have gotten a prom.) Because she's my freakin' BFF, I of course said "OKAY!!!!!!". I really really really REALLY wanted to go! Lol!
So the shoppin' began....
I was in need of:
A dress
Heels (no flats allowed by my mother!)
Accessories

We went to the Auburn mall and got all of the above, and some. My mom paid for everything but! I paid her back for it all with my hard earned cash!
Hooray!!
*Confetti* *Balloons* *Applause*
So at the mall we got a dress, earrings, and shoes. The dress took about 15 minutes to get. The earrings were in the same store as the dress so that was painfully easy. Lol!
The shoes took us a while though. We went to about 3 different shoe stores in the mall. We found a pair of sliver flip-flops that were very tight. My feet were soooo swollen after walking around the mall all day but we bought them anyway. Before we went home Mom and Vayda went to a pet store and I went to a Payless next door. I found the perfect shoes! They fit perfectly! They are black heels (not to tall!) with a thong strap and rhinestone squares on each. Very cute! (I'm only describing them to you because I didn't take any pictures and I seriously don't want to! :P)
After everything was found we headed back for home, exhausted!

The day of the prom came. I painted my fingers (and toes) with silver nail polish. I had my mom cut my hair (Ok, more like buzz it but w/e). She also plucked my eyebrows, (which I must say is about THE most painful thing I've gone through! I hate it!!) till they were, in her eyes, perfect. I then showered so I'd be clean (duh) and so Mom could do my hair. She gelled it up and pt little clips in it. Not my thing but she said that I was gorgeous and that if I complained, she would kill me. Soooo...lol. I then put on my dress and heels. Then Vayda sat me down and attacked...I mean, put make-up on, my face. After that, we took tons of pictures!
My bff Mollie was already at my house because she was not only getting ready but we were giving her a ride. So she was all gussied up and I was all gussied up and our mothers had tears in their eyes. I'm thinking that they thought we were beautiful....Lol!

My (beautiful) self with my mother and Mollie (also very beautiful) with her mother.

Me and my "Make-up Artist"

Mollie and I bought each other corsages. Why? Because we could! :P Lol!
The one pictured above was mine. Wasn't it pretty? Now it's it's all dry and lumpy...

On the road...and lookin' FINE! Lol!
The prom was at Bellhurst Castle so it wasn't much of a drive. Mom and her (crazy!) friend Heather drove us there because they were going out to dinner anyway.

(No photo for this 'cause that would be just weird!)
At Bellhurst we had a really nice dinner. We had waiters and everything!
I had Chicken Parmesan and Mollie had a pasta dish 'cause of her vegetarian-ness...aka Veg Headed-ness.

We arrived and found some friends!
Our friend Tiarra (the blond in the first picture) was there with her boyfriend, Michel (who goes to school with Mollie.) She looked great! Her dress was AMAZING on her!
The second picture is of Mollie's friends, Rachel and Roger. They were both very nice (I totally wanted Rachel's dress!) and quirky. We went to Denny's with them after the prom.

Here's pictures of everyone dancing.
(First pic) Unfortunately, this was a slow song, which is why I was just taking pictures and not dancing along! (Second pic) The dancing was fun but it got really good when they whipped out the glow stick-necklaces!
Then it was AWESOME!!!!

This is Mollie, Rachel and Roger...in the dark!
We were pretty tired so we all took a break from dancing.

Mollie and I chillaxin'
(This picture was taken during a slow song. That's pretty much the only time we had for pictures. The rest of the time we were on the dance floor. Lol!)

All in all it was an awesome night.
As you can tell, I was very happy that I went.
